Peter Boland is a national thought-leader with 28 years of healthcare industry experience. He has been a management consultant, and a project director for numerous change management and technology development initiatives for e-commerce businesses, integrated delivery systems and insurance companies. He received a doctorate from UCLA, a master's degree from the University of Michigan, and a post-graduate certificate from Harvard University's Executive Program in Health Policy and Management
Bidyut K. Bose learned Yoga from his father beginning in childhood, and later studied Sanskrit philosophical texts, Yoga and Meditation with monks in the Himalayas. Bidyut earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley, and has worked in Silicon Valley for many years. His research interests have shifted to the scientific application of Yoga Therapaeutics to special populations, and for many common chronic conditions. He is an advanced yoga teacher trainer and certified yoga therapist, and is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Niroga TM Institute. A long-time student of Indian philosophy and world religions, he is also a trained Indian classical musician.
Judy Dunlap has had extensive experience in finance, marketing, and sales, and was Director of Operations of a software company for 10 years, after receiving her MBA from Golden Gate University. She has an abiding interest in Eastern philosophies, and a holistic approach to healthful living and evolving consciousness. She is a certified Yoga teacher, having directly experienced the integral therapeutic benefits of Yoga first hand. She is a co-founder as well as Secretary and Treasurer of Niroga Institute.
Julie Hanamura has 27 years of experience in financial services industry. Currently a Senior Vice President at a Bay Area regional bank, she has held a number of bank operations management positions, and been a principal in a management consulting firm. Having previously served on the board of directors of two education focused non-profit organizations, Julie currently serves on the Executive Board and as Finance Committee Chair for the International Institute of the East Bay, an 86 year-old nonprofit organization providing training and legal services to the immigrant and refugee communities. A Bay Area native and UC Berkeley graduate, Julie resides in Kensington with her husband and two teenage sons.
Karen Schwartz is Assistant General Counsel for Sutter Health and has been a practicing attorney for twenty years. She has embraced the practice of yoga in all of its aspects and has incorporated it into her life for the past ten years. Karen recently completed a Yoga teacher training course and has become a certified Yoga instructor.
