Marianne Marchese, N.D., OTR/L is a clinician, author and educator. She received her doctorate from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR. She completed a two-year residency in integrative medicine and women's health as well as certification training in environmental medicine. Dr. Marchese is in private practice in Albany, CA.
Wako Takayama, certified acupressure practitioner (WakoWa Wellness, www.wakowa.com), has had a lot of experience with computer-related discomforts. Wako received her certification from the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, and is continuing studies there in Traditional Asian Therapies. She has degrees in Social Anthropology from Harvard and Stanford Universities, and has worked for over 15 years developing and marketing consumer products. Her passions are Anusara yoga, playing latin-jazz violin and speaking Spanish.
Bidyut (BK) Bose learned yoga from his father when he was a child, and later with monks in the Himalayas. He is an advanced yoga teacher trainer and certified yoga therapist, researching the scientific application of the principles of Yoga Therapeutics for many common chronic conditions, including back pain, chronic fatigue, diabetes, depression, hypertension and insomnia. He is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and is executive director of Niroga TM Institute.
NirogaTM Institute is a nonprofit center for integral health dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality yoga instruction and yoga therapy to at-risk and underserved individuals, families, and communities by outreach, education, and research.
