Indian Classical singer Sukhawat Ali Khan is the son and nephew of the world famous brothers Salamat and Nazakat Ali Khan. He was attracted to music at an early age, and at ten began singing on local radio in Lahore, Pakistan. Mr. Khan has settled in the San Francisco Bay area, where he teaches music while continuing to perform across the U.S.
Gurdeep Sing is a classical tabla virtuoso, famous throughout the SF Bay area. Mr. Singh began playing tabla at age 9, and expanded his proficiency to a variety of percussion instruments including tabla, Dhol (folk drum found in North India and Pakistan), and Dholak (a smaller version of a Dhol).
