Valley of the Moon, Sonoma, CA
Information and Registration form (1MB PDF)

Program

Make this Spring weekend memorable by recharging your body, mind, and spirit with the healing powers of Yoga, breathwork, and meditation. We will practice Yoga that is challenging, therapeutic, restorative, and relaxing. We will also explore classical methods of meditation in the Raja Yoga tradition. We will begin our first class on Friday at 5pm, and leave Sunday by 3pm.

Facilities

Westerbeke Ranch combines California Mission elegance with casual country charm. Just an hour away from the Bay area, it is situated in the heart of the wine country, in Sonoma County’s Valley of the Moon. Set in 100 acres of unspoiled beauty, lush garden paths and ancient oaks, the setting is beautiful, natural, peaceful, and restful. There are congenial accommodations in redwood cabins, and a spacious practice room. A hot tub and pool are available for your enjoyment and relaxation, and therapeutic massage is available by appointment.
Gourmet meals are specially prepared and served in the beautiful Mexican tiled dining room, or in the outdoor patio.

Feedback from the last retreat:

  • "Ah…I learned to B-R-E-A-T-H-E once again!"
  • "Discussions on the philosophy of yoga were food for a lifetime of contemplation!"

Antonia Fokken is an Anusara-inspired yoga teacher who teaches throughout the Bay Area. Combining her experience as a therapist and yoga teacher, she loves to guide, support and empower her students to build strength and flexibility from the inside out, through creative and playful exploration.

Bidyut Bose (BK) learned yoga from his father when he was a child, and later with monks in the Himalayas. A teachers’ teacher, his classes are an exercise in mindfulness, facilitating deep introspection while gently building flexibility, endurance, balance, and strength - invigorating and challenging, while deeply relaxing and restoring.
