Yoga Teacher Training Scholarships

Yoga classNiroga Institute in cooperation with Bay Area Black United Fund and Kaiser Foundation is offering full tuition scholarship (a $6,000 value) to 16 minority youth or young adults to become Certified Yoga Teachers.

After completing the two year training, newly certified teachers will be qualified to teach yoga in a variety of settings, such as, schools, medical facilities, juvenile halls, drug/rehab centers, senior centers, recreation centers, and, of course, yoga studios. They will be eligible to teach for Niroga and be positioned to bring the transformative practice of yoga to our communities with cultural competence and sensitivity.

If you are between the ages of 18 -35 with a high school diploma or GED, please submit an application. The deadline for applications is Wednesday September 10 with interviews being scheduled for the following week.
