Niroga Yoga Certified Teacher Training program

Certified Yoga Teacher Training Program
Fall 2009 - Spring 2010

This is for yoga students with at least a year of yoga practice, who are interested in becoming a Niroga Certified Yoga teacher. If you are looking to deepen your practice and share the benefits of yoga with others, you may find that this Yoga Teacher Training will give you all that you are looking for and more. Held in a nurturing, small group setting, the course, which runs on alternate Saturday afternoons from September through May, not only will give you training in leading basic poses, breath- work and centering, but will give you a solid grounding in yoga philosophy and the use of yoga for common chronic conditions. Certified Yoga Teacher Training Fellowship Program for People of Color

This is a 2-year Integral Health Fellowship program for people of color, with little prior experience in yoga and between the ages of 18 and 30, who are asked to commit to between 100 and 200 hours of community service after being trained. The number of hours of community service is based on scholarship amount with the level of scholarship for the $6000 (for 2 years) tuition based on income. The deadline for applications is August 28, 2009, with interviews being scheduled for the week of September 7th. For more information and for application, click here.

 

Yoga Corps™ Training

Niroga Yoga Corps Training is a special course for certified yoga teachers to learn how to address the needs of at-risk populations.
