Logistics

  • Introduction to Yoga (Attendance is required regardless of experience)
    • Attend Tuesday and Thursday classes from 7:30-8:45pm
    • Attend July 10th Orientation and meetings on Saturdays from 12 - 2pm on following dates: July 10, July 31, August 14, August 28, September 11
  • Class
    • Class meets every other Saturday: noon - 6pm, Sept 25, 2010 - May 21, 2011; winter break from Dec 19 - Jan 14
  • Location
    • All classes and meetings are held at 1808 University Ave. (@ Grant), Berkeley, CA 94703
  • Commitment
    • Must complete both modules for certification
    • Bi-weekly assigments (4 hours/assignment; 7 per module)
    • Attend designated yoga classes at the Niroga Center twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30pm (view schedule)
    • Attend group meetings twice monthly
    • Regular practice of Yoga, Breathwork, and Meditation
    • Volunteer 100 hours to bring yoga to communities of need in the first year after certification
