Logistics
For students with less than 6 months of consistent yoga experience
Introduction to Yoga
- Attend classes twice a week at the Niroga Center from 7:30 – 8:45pm upon acceptance into the program in June 2011 through to September 24, 2011 start of training.
- Attend monthly meetings from 3 – 5pm on June 25, July 23, and August 27th.
For all students
Training
- Module 1 - Class meets two Saturdays a month: 12 - 6pm, September 24 – December 17, 2011
- Module 2 – Class meets two Saturdays a month: 12-6pm, January 14 – May 26, 2012
Location
Classes are held at the Niroga Center at 1808 University Ave. (@ Grant), Berkeley, CA 94703
Commitment
- Must attend all Saturday sessions; make-ups to be discussed individually with faculty
- Must complete Module 1 and Module 2 for certification.
- Bi-weekly assignments (4 hours/assignment)
- Attend designated yoga classes twice a week: Choose from Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7:30-8:45pm (view schedule)
- Regular practice of Yoga, Breathing Techniques, and Meditation
Fees
Fees include all classes, instruction, books, and materials.
