An In-Person Training for the Realities of the School Year
Copilot Behavior Management and Niroga Institute are collaborating once again to deliver an in-person training for educators, aimed at equipping them with practical tools for behavior, regulation, and classroom support at the start of the school year. This full-day professional development combines brain science, behavior management, and movement-based mindfulness to enhance understanding of student behavior and support a safer learning environment. Participants will gain immediate strategies for students and tools to support their own well-being throughout the day.
Understand Behavior Before It Escalates
Student behavior is shaped by more than classroom rules or expectations. Brain development, stress, nervous system activation, relationships, environment, and previous experiences all influence how students respond, transition, participate, and learn.
This training helps educators view behavior through a brain-based, regulation-centered lens, making it easier to recognize what may be happening beneath the surface and respond before situations escalate.
Small, personalized, ideal

Choose Your Level of Support
Join our small in-person training, limited to 25 participants, for more discussion and personalized guidance. This full-day experience focuses on enhancing classroom practice, establishing steady school-year rhythms, and supporting the well-being of educators and students alike.
Participants will leave with an actionable implementation plan that identifies 2–3 strategies they can begin using right away. This plan is designed to help educators bring the training into their own classroom, school, or student-support setting with clarity and confidence.
Professional Development That Supports the Whole Educator
This training is designed for educators who want tools that support both student success and teacher sustainability.
When educators understand behavior through the lens of stress and regulation, they can respond with more confidence and consistency. When they also have tools to support their own nervous system, they are better able to stay present, reduce reactivity, and build learning environments where students feel safer and more ready to engage.
Led by Experts in Behavior, Regulation, and Real School Moments
This session is led by Laura Garroway Myers from Copilot Behavior Management and Daniel Duarte from Niroga Institute, bringing together two areas of expertise educators need at the start of the school year: practical behavior support and nervous system regulation.
Together, they’ll help participants connect brain science to real classroom challenges, with strategies that support student behavior, educator steadiness, and stronger learning environments.
Regulation Tools for Students and Educators
Educators will learn practical, evidence-based strategies that support regulation for both students and adults.
These tools are designed to be accessible, adaptable, and realistic for school settings. They can be used during transitions, moments of stress, challenging behavior, classroom disruptions, or times when students need support returning to learning.
Because educator regulation matters too, participants will also explore simple tools that help teachers stay grounded, responsive, and connected during demanding moments.
